July 23

I’m at CBS in  the green room just hanging out getting ready for the show. I’m feeling so great, as we just got back from rehearsing down on stage with the  band and Gilby. I am so pumped and excited and am feeling great with the Key of E for “Brown Sugar!” The vibe  was great, being on stage with the Band and Gilby. This is so amazing and exciting because this is who I will be playing  with if I am chosen to front Supernova. I still think everyone is crazy for not fighting me for this opportunity. I love the song and was grabbing and salivating over the chance to play and perform on stage with Gilby.

Music is  my passion and to be able to share this moment with Gilby is incredible! I’m playful but so serious about only what I do. I can’t wait. OH  MY  GOD! YES! The Rolling Stones kick ass and I feel that the song speaks for itself, it’s classic Rock n Roll and I am honored to sing and perform this  song and other than changing the key to suit my vocal range better, I felt it was important to keep the integrity of the song and respect it by not changing it. The song is perfect and it feels great and comfortable.

I can't wait to sink my teeth into it on stage! YES I BITE! The “House Band” is amazing and I  love feeling their energy and I trust them completely, and that’s important to feel confident and trusting, and having Gilby on stage is the cherry on top. He’s got an amazing presence and feel that is naturally him and I dig it and feel like we’ve done this before and hope this is the first of many to  come.

The party at the Mansion was unbelievable. We had a huge jam session with Tommy, Jason and Gilby in the Ballroom. We all sang and took turns playing piano, guitar, shakers, congas, it was a big sing along at times and everyone had a blast. The most amazing part of the night for me was at the end of the  party, when Tommy and I were sitting at the piano writing. It was a  moment we had showing each other some songs we had both been working  on. He played me a  piece of music he had just started writing. It was an honor for me to experience this with him. I never knew he played the piano and it was amazing for me to sit down and learn and play his song ideas with him. Up till this point all I knew of Tommy has been on the surface and song writing is such a personal thing, I felt like I broke through and saw a whole completely different side of him, and learned some things  about him and his thought process and his excitement for writing.

I mean this is “Tommy Lee” this was the most amazing thing for me to be able to write and play the piano with him. So after this amazing moment in time, I stayed up and worked on the song. I didn’t sleep for 2 days, it felt amazing and my thoughts just poured out of me being so inspired by everything here, and from all of this emerged something so beautiful called “Cocoon.” I can’t wait for Tommy and the guys to hear it. Tommy inspired  me, his music inspired me and this band inspires me. This opportunity is helping me be the best that I can be and for all of this I am so thankful and grateful to them.

I am so excited to perform this week! I am singing “Brown Sugar” another amazing classic Rock & Roll song by The Rolling Stones. The surprise was that whoever chose this song would get to perform it with Gilby. Last week Gilby said to me that he could see me fronting  “Supernova” for the 1st time. I’m seizing the  moment and was quite surprised not to be brawling over this one? Some  of us are still playing it safe and for me I think  they’re all crazy to not want to get up there with him. I love the song and can’t wait to share the moment with him. My sister Maris would not tell me to break a leg she would say “cripple em”-- I’m going for it!

July 13th we had a night  out at the Roxy! We all piled in the Supernova tour bus and partied  our way there. It was my first red carpet, and it was  a thrilling experience. The event Dave Navarro’s band Panic Channel and Marty Casey and Love Hammer. Don’t get me wrong, I love the mansion but it was great to be out meeting people and seeing some amazing live music! It was great to get a fill of what’s going  in the real world! It was great and flattery to meet some of my  fans!

We’re having a party at the mansion for the first time and we are all so happy  to have guests! I wish my friends and family could come, I miss  you all so much! We’ve been so busy here at the mansion and at rehearsals with the band. I am excited for this week's show! It  was fun shopping and hectic at times as well, it’s a tight schedule  but I love every minute!

I was trading a song today in the studio  here. We’ve all going to hang out and jam and have a good  time together. I love hearing ever ones original music!

Keep  watching and checking back at MSN’s site, it’s going to get  “Spicy” (as Tommy Lee would say) thanks for voting and for  all of your amazing support! Can’t wait to take the stage again  on Tuesday! See you.

July 12

What a  day! We are back at the mansion after our second elimination  show, and based on the votes I was in the bottom 3. Its not a  great place to be and hated being there. Though I am sad to see Chris go, I am relieved it was not me. Chris and Matt were both  amazing people and singers and I now they will have much success  in the future and I wish them well. We will miss them and the  mood here after an elimination show, when we come back with 1 less  person is always bitter sweet.

I am thankful for a second chance with Supernova and hope that you all will give me another chance  as well. I want to thank those of you in the crowd at CBS for being so amazing! It felt great to get a warm welcome and hear  your support. It was wicked cool to hear you all screaming! I  actually couldn’t hear any of the intro to “Bring me to Life”  you guys were so loud! I loved every minute! It made me feel so much  better being in that difficult situation.

It’s good to be back  and still in the game.

It’s so easy to lose track of what day it is here, it’s all like 1 big long ass day! I feel that day blends with night and night into day. It’s a big ass open canvas and my colors begin to spill and grace, then some times pour and splatter! I love the whole experience of being here. I take the good, bad, ugly and use it all for create-ful.

I’m feeling fired up lately and spirted and I'm up at night writing songs till 4:30 am.

We taped the show yesterday and I feel empowered and uninhibited. On stage there are no boundaries, it is the only place I’m truly free! "Violet" was out of the box for me. I am here to go for it, to take big chances and risks, not to play it safe. It’s too boring to play it safe.

There are many rides to me and when given the opportunity, I grab on with my teeth! This was a performance song, a chance for me to show I can be hard core, I can get dirty and I can sing anything. I live, love, laugh, sing as if it were always my last, no regrets, no 2nd guessing. I live and perform from my heart with passion and love for what I do. I’m a believer and will fight what I believe in.

Thank you to all the fans out there who were right there with me, cheering me on. You guys were my ignition, you lit the flame inside me and gave me that xtra spark I needed, while performing. It was a Blast! Thanks again to my wonderful beautiful supportive husband, my family and friends, I miss you all so much!

XO and thank you for your votes, there is so much more to come. Thanks for believeing in me and for your support!

Wow! The reality has set in after seeing the studio and being on stage with the band. I can not put into words how lush, rich and rock & roll the stage and room are. Walking I actually had tears in my eyes and when performing and rehearsing I embraced the whole experience with open arms and stars in my eyes! The band is amazing to work with and the same goes for the crew and people have help here helping and seeing us through it all. I’ve never had any real vocal training and we have been getting some exercising and lessons from Liz, she is amazing and I have learned so much already and thankful to have her here helping us out.

I have butterflies in my stomach, I can’t wait to get back on the stage and perform for you all! It is an honor to be here as one of 15 and I have to say everyone is extremely talented and unique. I think it will be a tough one for Supernova and all of you out there. I am happy to be here doing what I like and love to do sing and perform. Its going to be some ride! Happy 4th of July, God Bless America! See you soon!

Hi Friends,
I’m Jill Gioia, the petite Italian “woman” from Long Island New York. Some may know me from the local scene or from some touring I’ve done. Those of you who don’t, hopefully I will get to know though the next few months! I am so excited to be here! This is the ride of a lifetime and my hands are in the air, ready to catch what ever may come my way, my feet are on the ground and my jaw is hanging wide open! I want to thank my husband, family and friends for all of their love and support and for believing in me. I miss you and love you will all of my heart. I hope to make you proud and just want to show what a chick from long island is mad of! Ha! I can’t wait!! Until then does anyone leave a map? This mansion is huge, I feel like I’m living the movie “Spinal Tap”.
