It's so good to be back here at the mansion! I stayed up 2 nights in a row just to finish any songs I had been recording and burn them to disc. One was lost--the 1st one I'd written  here on the 4th of July. It's called "Inside of  Me." I am so grateful I now have the chance to finish and  re-record it.

Yea! Clap  clap! It felt so amazing to hear the crowd cheering for me on Wed's elimination show and to get the  reaction I did from Supernova and Dave--a standing ovation. I still can't believe that happened. It was also special to have my idols cheering for  me, especially Gilby being as he played with Heart.

I came back to the Mansion and took back my bungle bracelet I had left in the Bathroom, and I'm never giving  up! When Supernova announced that we would be each writing to one of their songs at Wed's show, I said to myself I have to be saved I want to write to this song! Gilby rode  up on his motorcycle for a visit after the show and surprised us along with Gibson guitars. We all got an electric Gibson! Wow! Christmas in August! It's beautiful. Mine is an SG--beautiful red and so hot. Thank you!

After all of that craziness,  Gilby played us the track. I love it and it feels great! I love the unexpected, this was an amazing day for me. My heart and soul are overflowing, my passion is stronger than ever and I'm going to keep working my butt off! I want this so bad and I believe and I have of a faith and I am so grateful to Supernova for all of this.

Hi Mom, Dad everyone at home, I miss you.  I love you and know you're right here with me. I can hear you screaming for me all the way from New York.

To my  husband Carmike who's in Japan on tour, I love you, I miss  you and I.F.L.Y.

July 29

I’ve had some time since my last journal  entry to really think and absorb & hear & feel everything  around me. It’s been a very emotional few days round here. I am so inspired by all the things that go on and all the things  that are said whether or not they are negative or positive. I want to be the best that I can be and I set a very high standard for myself  and am very critical of myself, especially if I know I can do it better. I know Supernova saw something in me that made them believe in me and I am learning so much from this  experience. I don’t  know it all and I am really listening to Supernova's comments  because I look up to them, I admire them and respect them as people and  musicians for all that they’ve accomplished. They are wiser and I know that though sometimes harsh, it’s the truth and I respect that. I know they are trying to make us the best artists, singers, performers we can each become.

I am  passionate about  everything I do especially performing, singing & writing  and I am dedicated and committed to this life and who I am and to this  band. I’ve learned that theres always room for improvement for growth and stubbornness gets you nowhere. I have an open  mind and am open to all of the changes I may go through to really find who I am. I’ve learned to stay true to who I am and hope that this seed of passion I have inside of me will grow and flourish and bring out the best of who I am. I have been very guarded here. I usually wear my heart on my sleeve and am eager to make friends and share and trust.

I am here for a reason and that is to front Supernova. There is never a bored or stagnant moment here for me, and I use my time  to create and I’m just being me here. It’s hard for me to hear people say “I’m bored” my thought for that is  “write  a song.” We had a performance clinic with Jason and I was really looking forward  to this. I learn so much from watching my performance back, though it’s kind of  weird & hard to watch yourself. I guess I get so critical of myself but anyway, anything I can do, or Jason, Gilby or Tommy can say to help me improve is  golden and special. I want to learn  from mistakes so I can get up there the next  time & be better, sing better, be aware of where & what my bandmates are doing so together our performances will be comfortable & trusting  and amazing. We watched each others performances and also some tape of Aerosmith & others. I will apply all of the performances  I watched into becoming the best performer I can be, still remaining  true to myself & who I am. It’s all  so exciting. Song selection is soon. Bring it on!

I’m at CBS in  the green room just hanging out getting ready for the show. I’m feeling so great, as we just got back from rehearsing down on stage with the  band and Gilby. I am so pumped and excited and am feeling great with the Key of E for “Brown Sugar!” The vibe  was great, being on stage with the Band and Gilby. This is so amazing and exciting because this is who I will be playing  with if I am chosen to front Supernova. I still think everyone is crazy for not fighting me for this opportunity. I love the song and was grabbing and salivating over the chance to play and perform on stage with Gilby.

Music is  my passion and to be able to share this moment with Gilby is incredible! I’m playful but so serious about only what I do. I can’t wait. OH  MY  GOD! YES! The Rolling Stones kick ass and I feel that the song speaks for itself, it’s classic Rock n Roll and I am honored to sing and perform this  song and other than changing the key to suit my vocal range better, I felt it was important to keep the integrity of the song and respect it by not changing it. The song is perfect and it feels great and comfortable.

I can't wait to sink my teeth into it on stage! YES I BITE! The “House Band” is amazing and I  love feeling their energy and I trust them completely, and that’s important to feel confident and trusting, and having Gilby on stage is the cherry on top. He’s got an amazing presence and feel that is naturally him and I dig it and feel like we’ve done this before and hope this is the first of many to  come.

The party at the Mansion was unbelievable. We had a huge jam session with Tommy, Jason and Gilby in the Ballroom. We all sang and took turns playing piano, guitar, shakers, congas, it was a big sing along at times and everyone had a blast. The most amazing part of the night for me was at the end of the  party, when Tommy and I were sitting at the piano writing. It was a  moment we had showing each other some songs we had both been working  on. He played me a  piece of music he had just started writing. It was an honor for me to experience this with him. I never knew he played the piano and it was amazing for me to sit down and learn and play his song ideas with him. Up till this point all I knew of Tommy has been on the surface and song writing is such a personal thing, I felt like I broke through and saw a whole completely different side of him, and learned some things  about him and his thought process and his excitement for writing.

I mean this is “Tommy Lee” this was the most amazing thing for me to be able to write and play the piano with him. So after this amazing moment in time, I stayed up and worked on the song. I didn’t sleep for 2 days, it felt amazing and my thoughts just poured out of me being so inspired by everything here, and from all of this emerged something so beautiful called “Cocoon.” I can’t wait for Tommy and the guys to hear it. Tommy inspired  me, his music inspired me and this band inspires me. This opportunity is helping me be the best that I can be and for all of this I am so thankful and grateful to them.

I am so excited to perform this week! I am singing “Brown Sugar” another amazing classic Rock & Roll song by The Rolling Stones. The surprise was that whoever chose this song would get to perform it with Gilby. Last week Gilby said to me that he could see me fronting  “Supernova” for the 1st time. I’m seizing the  moment and was quite surprised not to be brawling over this one? Some  of us are still playing it safe and for me I think  they’re all crazy to not want to get up there with him. I love the song and can’t wait to share the moment with him. My sister Maris would not tell me to break a leg she would say “cripple em”-- I’m going for it!

July 13th we had a night  out at the Roxy! We all piled in the Supernova tour bus and partied  our way there. It was my first red carpet, and it was  a thrilling experience. The event Dave Navarro’s band Panic Channel and Marty Casey and Love Hammer. Don’t get me wrong, I love the mansion but it was great to be out meeting people and seeing some amazing live music! It was great to get a fill of what’s going  in the real world! It was great and flattery to meet some of my  fans!

We’re having a party at the mansion for the first time and we are all so happy  to have guests! I wish my friends and family could come, I miss  you all so much! We’ve been so busy here at the mansion and at rehearsals with the band. I am excited for this week's show! It  was fun shopping and hectic at times as well, it’s a tight schedule  but I love every minute!

I was trading a song today in the studio  here. We’ve all going to hang out and jam and have a good  time together. I love hearing ever ones original music!

Keep  watching and checking back at MSN’s site, it’s going to get  “Spicy” (as Tommy Lee would say) thanks for voting and for  all of your amazing support! Can’t wait to take the stage again  on Tuesday! See you.
